Good ‘cast, folks.
It actually -did- make sense and mirrors much of my own feelings and experiences in my Pagan community.
Unfortunately, the changing attitude towards new folks in Paganism and Wicca (as well as similar pagan-related paths) has made it more difficult for people to find acceptance or feel as though they are welcome. Some of this is also due to the rising amount of people who are involved in Paganism because it is ‘cool’, which seems to turn more established Pagans off towards -anyone- who is new. The wrong attitude, to be sure, but I have seen it happen. (I have also, at times, felt this way myself. Needing to have serious discussions on spiritual topics and only finding newbies who don’t want to talk about spirituality, or have no idea what I’m needing to talk about.)
I would love to have the experience of walking through a gathering and feel free and accepted, and wish it happened more often these days.
Anyway, great podcast! Blessings to you folks and your kids!
