Those Tools that We Love to Use pt2

Frankly I can hardly believe that I was able to hold to my word and get part two out as quick as I did. The are still some issues being worked out with the new mic so there may be a few sound quality issues. I'm working on it as I'm having to learn a couple of new things to go along with said new microphone.

Arrowind and Foxfire wrap up the topic of magical tools in this the second part of last episode. We cover a few more tools and then decide we had better stop before it became a three part show. Being unused to going on so long and recording as we generally do, late at nite, you may be able to tell that we getting a little tired near the end. Trust me it's definitely not a lack of enthusiam.

The Podcast of the Week this time is "The i-Pod Witch" with it's totally charming hostess Brook. Brook brings a down home sense of style and feel of genuine love of her spirituality to her show. She gives gemstone information and reviews books and other podcasts. She also rambles along about her life in a way that is very sincere and her "rambles" may be the most addictive part of her show. Check her out she is so worth the listening time.

As we did on the show I'd also like to say here that we miss our friends Ananda and Uthur. Take care of yourselves you two. We love you!

Blessed Be

Foxfire

Hi Arrowind and Foxfire. Just wanted to drop a note. Picked up your podcast a few weeks ago (I think it was Tommy Elf that mentioned your show), and it is a great show! I am a parent also, I have a 5 year old special needs child, so my spirituality plays a large part of me trying to help my daughter and also keeping sane in the worldly stresses. Anyway, loved the “tools” episodes. I myself love my tools, but have been streamlining my celebrations and rituals lately. They had become a bit cumbersome and lengthy. I figured out I did not need to do everything at once, celebrate and enjoy (in my eclectic path, I look to the solstices and equinox’s as the major points) and if I need to accomplish casting, etc, I can come back to that later. But with that, I notice I am adding more tools to my practice. Most new ones are not not really working tools (I have my atheme, wand, etc) but I seem to like pieces on my altar (patron reps, etc), some I have made myself and some I have purchased. These things seem to help me focus and connect. Could I work or connect without them? Sure, I do in my daily life. But there seems to be something about having some of my pieces when I am in a seasonal celebration. And I rotate some depending on the season (by the way. I have a HUGE Santa collection also :>) Ok, enough rambling, I just downloaded some of your older shows (yes, the Santa one from last Dec!) and look forward to catching up a bit. Peace and Cheers! Chet
